From the karst springs beneath Dinara, the Cetina crosses reservoirs, fields and settlements before cutting through limestone country toward Omiš. Its power is in the transitions: quiet upper water, broad hinterland, narrowing canyon and finally the Adriatic.

Think of the Cetina as a route rather than a point. The most rewarding trip follows those changes and gives each section enough time.
